We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites because we were attending a wedding reception at the casino. We traveled 3 1/2 hours for the event, and despite arriving at noon the staff had our room ready which was a blessing because we needed somewhere to change for the wedding. The staff was very helpful, and accommodations were very nice at a reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a place to stay in the area.
Stayed with a wedding group with a great rate. WOW this place is awesome! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, caring staff. I will be back!

I'm currently here, checking out in an hour. Just went down for breakfast. I just want to preface that I'm paying $185 a night in Northwood, IA, for a room that's not a suite, which is ridiculous. I get it, it's a attached to a Mickey Mouse casino, but that doesn't justify $185 a night. I at least expected to be wowed by the breakfast. The eggs tasted like sawdust, they had no pastry items left, so they basically had a nice new remodeled breakfast area to serve cereal and male your own waffles. And the worst part was the breakfast staff. It was like they were purposely banging around the glassware when they cleared plates and washed the dishes. Dear Country Inn: if you want to switch to glassware over Styrofoam, give your staff some training. Room was fine, checkout was early, should be noon, especially attached to a casino. Worth maybe $75 a night, certainly not $185. If you really need a casino fix, you can fly to Vegas for that. And I imagine there will be a "response from the owner" soon that will be a canned statement from Carlson about how they are sorry for my experience and they strive to be the best and hope I will give them another try. Let's see how long that takes.....
Very nice hotel in the middle of no where. Was very quite considering there is a casino attached to it. Nice and clean. Great staff.
